Of the numerous places to visit, the Necrópole das Forcadas and Tapada do Anjo (Middle Ages), Fraga da Pena (Bronze Age ceremonial site), Castro de Santiago (fortified village of the Chalcolithic), Anta de Cortiçô and that of Slaughter (Neolithic).
